The Mysterious Man
The Mysterious Man is a ghostly figure in all black from Hollywood. Back in 2005, you could find him outside his apartment with a laptop recording himself repeating these surreal motifts and refrains about lust and sex. He had sung his diary entries over his piano over his telephone on cassette, for his friends who handed it out on the street. He was later seen at many live shows in the lower yet creative parts of Los Angeles, performing music with extermely vulnerable and honest/blunt, yet abstract lyrics of love and optimism. The instrumentals were minimal and alien, and we're clearly inspired by electronica while the vocals were inspired by neo-soul (D'angelo) and R&B (Charlie Wilson). He was later signed to Bonham Beat Records in 2005, where he has made 7 albums (3 being old remastered demo tapes, 2 being plunderphonics, and 2 others being R&B electronic combinations). He is currently making a collab record with Ninja From Vermont called MANMONT.
